FAQs

How long should my roof last?

The lifespan of your roof depends on several factors, including the type of roofing material, the quality of installation, climate, and maintenance. Asphalt shingles may only last 15 years, while metal roofs can last over 50 years. If you’re unsure about the age or the state of your roof, a free inspection is a great place to start.

What type of roofing material does Obsidian Roofing use?

We specialize in the installation of architectural shingles, which have a typical lifespan of 20-30 years. While it’s always the homeowners’ choice, we recommend IKO products to deliver strong performance with a great warranty.

How much will a new roof cost?

The cost of a new roof depends on your roof’s size, material, complexity, and whether tear-off and disposal of the old roof are required. We can provide a free inspection and estimate, so you know what to expect.

Do you offer financing or payment plans?

We are a small, local company, and are unable to offer financing or payment plans at this time. A perk of choosing to work with us is that as a small company, our overhead remains low enough to offer competitive and affordable pricing along with quality work.
