Obsidian Roofing LLC is a locally owned and operated business. Why does that matter? Because this is our home, as well as yours. Our friends and families all live here, so our roots run deep. We're all neighbors here, and we care about our community. Anyone living in Bend understands there are certain codes of conduct expected of us- be nice (You're in Bend!), break for pedestrians, dogs, and ducks, and be ready for any weather, anytime. Anyone doing business in Bend understands that positive word of mouth is the most powerful tool for earning new customers. When you choose us to work on your roof, you can trust that we stand behind our projects and we aren’t happy until you are!
Owner, Brett, and his wife Holly, grew up in Bend, Oregon. Brett has a long history in construction, from framing to stone and tile, and of course, roofing! While he and his crew handle the heavy lifting, Holly uses her administrative history to run the office. When they aren't working, they're outside taking full advantage of this little recreational paradise that is Central Oregon. In the winter, they can be found on Mount Bachelor, snowboarding or snowmobiling nearby along the Cascade Lake Hwy. In the summer, they're either hiking or mountain biking the numerous trails, or stand up paddle boarding in the Deschutes River or one of the numerous lakes. They both love sports- most of all football, spending time with friends and family, or simply just chilling at home with their two kitties.
We were asked why we chose the name Obsidian Roofing for our company. Surely, in the search engine optimization scheme, we should have gone for something a little higher in the alphabet? We wanted a name that represented Central Oregon. Obsidian is a unique feature in our backyards, both beautiful and strong. Its very presence speaks to the history in our area, and we wanted to honor that. Our logo represents the Three Sisters of the Cascade Mountain Range, as well as the gable roofs of a house.
